Dr. Amy McHugh
Dr. Amy McHugh graduated cum laude from Rider University where she studied biology and received honors distinction in her field of study. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where her internships included serving low vision and blind populations as well as those with significant ocular disease. In 2019, Dr. McHugh completed her Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery Residency at OMNI Eye Services of New Jersey and New York focused on treatment and management of glaucoma, cataracts, retinal disease, corneal disease, pediatrics and post-operative care. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, board certified by the National Board Examiners of Optometry and New Jersey State Board of Optometrists. She has been published in numerous scientific journals, holds a patent and has lectured at local optometry society meetings and schools. Her hobbies include photography, cooking and hiking the great outdoors
