  Cataract Treatment

  When cataracts first begin to develop, you will notice that night driving will become more difficult, as you will see more halos and glare from oncoming headlights. You will also feel like you need more light to read than in the past as your cataracts get worse. In extreme or severe cases, cataracts can lead to blindness. Non-surgical treatments such as glasses or contact lenses can be used to minimize the symptoms of cataracts and temporarily improve your vision. However, when vision becomes significantly impaired, especially when driving at night or reading, we recommend cataract surgery to improve or restore your vision.
